April 5th 2005:
Australia and New Zealand were even better than our best experts
had projected. Also, nothing of value was destroyed during the
10 flights, so we got that goin for us- which is nice. The
Fucking Am sets were deemed 'acceptable' by audiences from
auckland to adelaide. Big thanks to trans am, nate & xan,
paul & john for putting their money where our mouths were.

January 27th 2005:

As Champs return from 4 shows in southern california,
their van turns 400,000- miles that is. The Champs send special thanks
to the ice cream man for choco tacos and newcastles.
Champs also offer reward for information leading to
the return of their stolen 'guvnor' pedal
and the termination of its captor.

December 26th 2004:
Air New Zealand is contracted to transport Champs downunder
for late March two week tour with Trans Am and The Fucking Am.

December 25th 2004:
Champs earn time and a half recording European tour 7" on christmas day.

December 12th 2004:
Champs let the proverbial cat out of the bag and reveal involvement in
"The Urbz: Sims in the City"
Champs contribute "The Trees" from the album, "III" and "Nation of I-slam"
from an idea in their heads. Concentrick also contributes a song
and Tim Green adds some random guitar noodles.

December 7th 2004:
Fucking Champs solidify new lineup with recent pair of shows in bay area.


November 24th 2004:
SFBG provides informative and even-handed piece about new Champs line-up.

November 7th 2004:
Champs provide musical backdrop to featurette at the end of
the dawn of the dead remake- only on unrated DVD version.
Although promised a meager $250, Champs receive nothing.

September 8th 2004:
The Fucking Champs announce several shows, both months away- world reaction is ambivalent.

August 24th 2004:
Drag City strikes "GOLD"! The Fucking Am's "GOLD" out now on LP and CD.
